These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PlotForge ("the Service"), operated by Terminus Grid ("we," "us," or "our"), a sole proprietorship registered in India. By creating an account or using PlotForge, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Everything you create in PlotForge — your projects, characters, notes, timelines, and any script you upload for Table Read — is yours. We don't claim ownership over your creative work, we don't use it to train any model, and we don't share it with anyone unless you explicitly export and share it yourself. You can export any project as a file at any time, and you can delete your account (which permanently deletes everything in it) at any time from the Settings page.
PlotForge offers a free plan with usage limits (active projects, canvas cards, Card Forge cards, timeline tracks, and Table Read frequency) and a paid Pro plan that removes those limits. Current pricing and limits are listed on our pricing page and may change with notice. Nothing about switching between plans, or letting a Pro subscription lapse, ever results in your existing projects being deleted — content beyond the free plan's limits simply becomes view-only and exportable until you're back within the limit or resubscribe.
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, acting as Merchant of Record — meaning Dodo is the entity that legally processes your payment and handles applicable tax, even though you're subscribing to PlotForge. Your payment receipt will reflect this.
You can cancel anytime from Settings → Manage Billing, no questions asked. Cancelling stops future billing, but you keep Pro access through the end of the period you've already paid for — you're never charged again after cancelling, and you're never cut off early for cancelling. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
Don't use PlotForge to store or generate content that's illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or is intended to harass or harm others. Don't attempt to interfere with the Service's security or availability, or access other users' accounts or data without authorization. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
Table Read converts uploaded script text to speech using text-to-speech technology. Uploaded scripts are processed to generate audio and are not stored on our servers beyond what's needed to provide the feature. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data is collected and which third-party services (Supabase, Vercel, Dodo Payments, and our text-to-speech provider) are involved in running PlotForge.
We aim to keep PlotForge available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we'll make a reasonable effort to notify users (such as an in-app notice or email). Continuing to use PlotForge after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your account and all associated data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
